It's been quite a while since this blog has been updated, but mum has just discovered the iPad app to keep it going. It might very well be time to hand this over.

Principal's Award

Today, mum and I were invited to attend the Principals morning tea.  This is the ultimate in school awards.  Mum says she is very proud.

This is me & the Vice Principal for the Junior school.  My award says: Awarded for valuing the School Rules, and showing qualities of Safety, Achievement and Respect.

Me & mum spent the day at southbank. I was a bit disappointed about not going to the musuem, but a swim is just the way to cheer me up.

Happy Birthday Mummy

I rang grandad in the morning to take me to the shops and surprised mum with these flowers on her birthday.  She was sooooo happy.

Karana Island

Me and mum went up to Karana Island for the weekend. This is a cool house with a little swimming pool overlooking the canal. I practiced swimming all weekend.

Grandad's Birthday

Grandad turned 77 today. He really wanted an Iphone for his birthday.  Here we all are having a civilised dinner conversation. Mum thought it was hilarious.

Prep Graduation

Movie Night/Prep Red Graduation.  We had worked on making a movie this term.  Mine was about Ben 10.  We had a movie night and our parents came to school.  We walked down the red carpet and Miss Jane interviewed me.  Then we watched the movie and got our graduation certificates, memory books and a CD of our movie.

6th Birthday Party - Star Wars

I had a Star Wars themed party for my 6th Birthday.  Mum went all out again and I had the best party.  This is the morning of my party and my present from mum.  I got exactly what i wanted. A build my own lightsaber.  See the cool poster we painted.

My party was about training to be a Jedi.  So when everyone arrived they got dressed in Jedi costumes and were given their Jedi Training cards.

Jedi padawan's earned their inflatable light sabers in a game of pass the parcel.

Jedi padawan completed the obstacle training course.

A Wing Fighter that me and mum made out of cardboard.

Out of the house appeared Storm Trooper Jason and Darth Denym. 

A battle ensued to defeat the dark side.

 This is my birthday cake.  It's R2D2 and all those figurines are mine!  It's a pinata cake.  You smash it and the cake is inside with lots of yummy goodies.  Just like a pinata.
 

 

Everyone had to stand back while i smashed my cake.  I got to grab chocolates first.

School Christmas Carols.

School Carols by Candlelight tonight.  My class is doing the nativity scene and I am a shepherd.  These look strangely like my Jedi costumes for my birthday!
